For Educators:

This section includes educator guides for the Managing Money Section, Renting a Home Section, Home-Buying Process Section and the Being a Responsible Home Owner Section. The educator guides are suggestions for conducting group sessions with clients. From the many tools provided, you can select which lessons and materials are most beneficial to your clients. With experience, you may find changes to the educator guides to be helpful. We encourage you to adapt these guides to fit your teaching style and your client's needs. These guides can also easily be adapted for individual learning.

Using the Educators Guides

• Each educator guide contains a Lesson Plan, PowerPoint Presentation, and Content Guide, as well as all needed worksheets, samples and handouts. All materials should be downloaded and reviewed 2-3 days prior to the presentation, and clarification obtained, if needed.
• Each client should receive a packet that includes a copy of the PowerPoint Presentation and all relevant materials indicated in each lesson plan. These client packets should be prepared prior to the class meeting.
• As an educator, familiarize yourself with the A-V Equipment you will be using and practice presenting the presentation prior to the class meeting.
